SERRANA

Academic Journal of Kabul University

Centre for Policy and Human Development revived Kabul University Academic Journal; SERRANA, after almost 25 years of inactive period. The history of SERRANA journal goes back to late 60s, when Kabul University first launched it’s ever first academic journal. In early 80 due to the fragile and unstable political situation in the country, Kabul University was not able to produce the journal.

In late 2007, by acknowledging the importance of the journal in promoting research culture in the country, CPHD in partnership of Kabul University decided to review the journal. CPHD by providing financial and technical support enable Kabul University to reactivate its official journal after decades. The first volume of SERRANA 2nd edition was published in April 2009 in three languages, Pashto, Dari, and English. SERRANA is a quarterly journal, which is accepting research/academic articles relevant to Afghanistan from both Afghan and International academia.
